What this extension does

shadcn/ui Style Grab extracts visual design properties (colors, fonts, border-radii, shadows) from the currently active webpage and maps them to a shadcn/ui theme preset using AI analysis.

When data is collected

Data is collected only when you explicitly click the "Grab Style from This Page" button. The extension does not collect data passively or in the background.

Data collected

• CSS properties: colors, font families, border-radii, box-shadows, CSS custom properties
• Computed styles from key page elements (buttons, headings, inputs, cards)
• A compressed screenshot of the visible tab (resized, JPEG 70%)
• The URL and page title of the extracted page

How data is processed

Extracted data is sent to a Cloudflare Worker proxy which forwards it to AI models via OpenRouter. Data is processed transiently during the request. No data is stored on any server.

Local storage

Extraction history (URL, title, preset code, thumbnail) and settings are stored locally on your device in chrome.storage.local. No data is synced to the cloud.

What we don't collect

• No personally identifiable information
• No browsing history beyond pages you explicitly extract
• No analytics, telemetry, or tracking
• No cookies or authentication credentials
• No data is sold or shared with third parties
